HOW WE WORK

GWF BALANCE FOLLOWS A PROVEN 8-WEEK IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS

STEP 1:
PROJECT KICK-OFF, STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT & PLATFORM SETUP

Together with you, we organize a full-day workshop to review data, select zones, define measurement points, and agree on the overall project implementation. Based on the project plan, we engage with relevant stakeholders (e.g., fire department) and prepare the platform for the project.

STEP 2:
SENSOR INSTALLATION FOR FLOW AND PRESSURE DATA COLLECTION

Our field engineers install the necessary sensors and connectivity for data collection. Over a period of 7–14 days, we collect flow and pressure data from our sensors with high granularity. This data provides all necessary flow and pressure information for input into the GWF BALANCE digital tool.

STEP 3:
DETERMINATION OF THE PRESSURE: LEAKAGE RELATIONSHIP (THE N1 INDEX)

We monitor the normalized flow and pressure profiles through system-generated data. This allows us to evaluate the pressure-to-leakage relationship, represented by the N1 index. The data provides insights to assess system performance and determine whether an N1 test is required.

STEP 4:
IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDED PRESSURE SETTING

Adjustments to the network pressure are recommended and implemented. Existing or new PRVs are set to optimal pressure points accordingly. The GWF BALANCE platform
tracks the impact and revalidates recommendations for accuracy and effectiveness.
